The Vitreoretina Training School is an educational platform designed to provide structured, hands-on, and comprehensive training in vitreoretinal surgery and diagnostics. It is aimed at ophthalmology residents, general ophthalmologists, and young retina specialists who wish to enhance their knowledge and surgical skills in managing retinal and vitreous diseases.
Our training school offers a variety of courses, including basic and advanced vitrectomy techniques, retinal imaging and diagnostics, surgical simulations in wet labs, and case-based discussions. Courses are delivered by experienced faculty and tailored to different levels of expertise, from foundational skills to advanced procedures like bimanual surgery and complex membrane dissection.
Participants can register through our official website or by contacting our program coordinator. Basic requirements include being a licensed ophthalmologist or resident in ophthalmology training, and submitting a short application form and CV. International participants are welcome and may receive assistance with travel arrangements, visa support, and accommodation recommendations.
